Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 15, 2026

The short version: do not use the Service to harm people, infringe rights, or break the law. The full list is below.

1. Purpose

CoverArtGenerator.ai is built to help musicians create cover artwork. This Acceptable Use Policy describes what you may not do with the Service. It supplements our Terms of Service, and a violation is a violation of those Terms.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

You agree not to use the Service to generate, request, or distribute:

  • Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes real or fictional minors. This is strictly prohibited and reported.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, including sexual depictions of real people without their explicit consent.
  • Deceptive impersonation of real people, brands, or public officials, including deepfakes intended to mislead.
  • Harassment or hateful content targeting protected characteristics (race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar attributes).
  • Threats, incitement to violence, or content promoting terrorism or self-harm.
  • Infringing material, including content that copies third-party artwork, logos, or trademarks without permission.
  • Malware, phishing, or fraudulent material.

You also agree not to interfere with the Service: no scraping, no reverse engineering, no bypassing rate limits or watermarks, no automated abuse, and no attempts to access accounts or data that are not yours.

3. Uploaded reference photos

You may upload reference photos only if you own the rights to them or have explicit permission from every identifiable person depicted. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, photos taken in private settings without consent, or photos of minors.

4. Compliance with model provider policies

Generations are produced by third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI's gpt-image-1). Their content policies apply to your prompts in addition to ours, and the model may refuse a request that violates either policy. We are not responsible for refusals issued by the underlying model.

5. Enforcement

We may at any time, with or without notice, remove content, refuse to process a prompt, suspend or terminate accounts, and report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities. Forfeited credits resulting from a confirmed violation of this Policy or our Terms are non-refundable.

To report a violation or content concern, email support@ctrlmusicgroup.com with a description and any relevant URLs or screenshots.

6. Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content generated through the Service infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice including the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to:

CTRL MUSIC PLATFORMS LLC
Attn: DMCA Agent
1 E Erie St, Suite 525-2860
Chicago, IL 60611
Email: support@ctrlmusicgroup.com

We will respond to valid notices and may remove the affected content or terminate repeat infringers' accounts.
